Sons of Anarchy Season 2 Episode 2 - Fix
The thing that surprised me most about this week's episode are the number of times it made me laugh. That's hard to do for a show that cracks more skulls per episode than a plastic surgeon.
It doesn't do so by sacrificing the things that make it great. It's still just as hard-edged, emotional and violent as before. You're just chuckling for all the right reasons, this time.
The opening scene of Bobby doing his best Elvis at a bar-mitzvah intertwined with Luanne's Mad Men porn parody had me laughing because it was just so weird and out of place for this show. It had me wondering if I had the right channel on the dial.
Of course, it wastes no time moving right back to the problems facing SAMCRO and the rest of Charming. The scenes where Gemma and Clay interact in the wake of her rape that she refuses to share with anyone except Chief Wayne and Tara takes its slow toll on their relationship. It's hard to know at this point if she'll crack and let her emotions get the best of her, but her ties to the club run deep. It's more than a living or a way of life. It's her family. She's willing to sacrifice her relationship and even her love to keep it alive. The best revenge against the Aryans is to keep them from winning.
Speaking of the Aryans, I love how the show just feeds you tidbits of Alan Arkin and Henry Rollins' characters without spilling everything all at once. They make interesting villains because we know absolutely zilch about them. And you would expect Rollins' cold, psychopathic attitude to be the one harboring more anger but it turns out it's Arkin who reveals that his dead wife killed in a drive-by is the reason he "got into the game." Anger is a strange fuel. It turns good men into monsters and it just may make Arkin the more dangerous threat than Rollins, even if Arkin doesn't look like he could pick up a man over his head and throw him through a plate glass window.
The ultimate climax (ahem) for this episode was the porn queen trying to step into Tara's sensible shoes by making a play for Jax....

Sons of Anarchy Season 2 episode 2 - Small Tears
in the sons of anarchy season 2, ebisode 2, Small Tears - Gemma experiences something horrible, to talk about, even to Jax and Clay because she knows there would be a whole lot of killing going on. But Gemma is not without her own plans so she covers up the incident and waits.
Alverez, the Mayans and the Son's conflict over the AK47's.
A rival porn producers, with the help of the Feds, come to Clearing and attempts to put Luanne out of business. It seems Agent Stahl is still a little unhappy with Luann's husband Otto's treatment of her last season. Jax's intervenes and Clay just doesn't quite understand Jax's decision, it is rather obvious that Clay's misunderstanding is so much so that it will causes conflicts later.
Funniest bit of the night: Tig wakes up with some woman on top of him, he rolls her off him (and off the bar where they were both laying) and says, "I love you" after she splats on the floor.

Sons of Anarchy Season 2 Episode 1
Sons of Anarchy Season 2 has begun and the first episode is picking up from the end of season one. It opened with just as much vim, vigor, and boom as season one ended with. You can already tell Sons of Anarchy Season 2 is going to go places Season 1 only begin to delve into.
Sons of Anarchy season 2 starts with a surprising scene. Jax and other members of the club are busy in testing some weapons. They are discussing about the new arrangements. Everybody looks busy and much tense. It clears rapidly that something is wrong there. Suddenly Jax controlled environment and speaks to the members. A long eye contact takes place between Jax and Clay.
Other characters are still on their previous places like, Tara in town. Gemma is still taking care of Abel. Opie is still unaware about the murderer of his wife. A little change moves in the story but very slowly. Biggest catastrophes happened in the shape of Henry Rollins and Adam Arkin. Town becomes again victim by this threat. Hale takes an idea of upcoming problems. These guys are like a spy and observe the circumstances of the town. Jax is doing his best to find out the killers of Donna. He also says that, I m doing it all for the protection of Opie. Here he shows an ironical view, because he is doing it all much for himself. Jax reveals his nature about Opie. He seems sincere about Opie.
The advice of Gemma proves as a positive scene in the episode. She advised Tara about the relationship between her and Jax. Tara suffers some suspects about Jax. After a long controversy, Jax reveals about his evening activities that how he helps Opie for kill a person who was the murderer of Donna.
I will hint at this, Donna's murder was an accident, and you will not believe who was behind it...but that's in season 1.

Okay, I hav got to stop talking about Sons of Anarchy Season 1 because Sons of Anarchy Season 2 has began, and that is what this blog is suppose to be about. I just one to get more people to watch it and fall is love with it as I have. Mom, who is the ex-Mrs. Al Bundy is great and her character and persona is so different, but she is still the super strong female. Perlman finally get to be human, not some freak of nature humanoid and he is great as a real person. The character chemistry is fantastic. Don't believe me? Watch it and you will see. if any of u notice with what hes wearin compared to the older guys its becase there is a new young crew emerging and takin over…the older guys dont wear tennis shoes now that i would be pissed about but its a new group and once agaim a young group….and about the type of biked they ride it really doesnt matter as long as its no crotch rocket…look at the hells angels not all of there bikes were pan heads or straight harleys they customized there bikes to there on look and style the only thing that made them the same as the mc brothers was the attitude the pastch the jacket and the respect from there peers and communities alike….so shut up about the clothing and bikes its a show and just cause there not riding and wearing what u think they should doesnt make the show any less DAMN GOOD!!!it just makes it have its own expression and uniqness to it..and it also sets them apart from the guys like u who think they have to look and act a certain way to be respected and feared…GO SOA $ EVER!!!!!

I just purchased a Son’s of Anarchy tank top. I am a 53 year old mom and Nana, another grand daugther on the way. This show reminds me of the mid seventies and how I grew up with a club at a very young 16. Needless to say, I grew up very fast. I now own my own 2007 Street Glide, and love the lifestyle, and being in the wind. I am excited to see what happens next in the up coming episodes.

Back in the late 70’s and 80’s, HA’s did ride rigid frames 74-78 shovels, Knuckles, suicide clutch, trikes, rat bikes, didn’t really matter back then as long as you owned a bike you could possibly become a member. They didn’t have the baggers like now, no comfort for the women, you either rode on what was there, whether a seat or a fender, or you didn’t ride.

I’ve read a lot of books on OMG’s as well as watched many shows. So far the writers have been on target except for one thing – OMG’s do not wear their colors when riding in a car. Otherwise, this show ROCKS and I can’t wait for next season! An excellent show – thank you for creating some excellent programing.

I just purchased a Son’s of Anarchy tank top. I am a 53 year old mom and Nana, another grand daugther on the way. This show reminds me of the mid seventies and how I grew up with a club at a very young 16. Needless to say, I grew up very fast. I now own my own 2007 Street Glide, and love the lifestyle, and being in the wind. I am excited to see what happens next in the up coming episodes.

Back in the late 70’s and 80’s, HA’s did ride rigid frames 74-78 shovels, Knuckles, suicide clutch, trikes, rat bikes, didn’t really matter back then as long as you owned a bike you could possibly become a member. They didn’t have the baggers like now, no comfort for the women, you either rode on what was there, whether a seat or a fender, or you didn’t ride.

it is a great show but jax is nothing like bad enough to even be in a 1 percenter let alone second in charge, if they suspected oppie he would have been dead straight off with out a sit down and ask him questions, and real 1 percenters would not think twice about killing an innocent witness. as good as the show is it does not quite show how bad 1 percenters are, and they deal in drugs to make money especialy meth, as for the IRA link well trust me they would sort their own probs out if someone killed a member, good show could be better though

I think alot of people miss the point of SOA and bikers in general. A true biker doesnt give 2 shits about waht people think about what they were other than the patch on the back or on the skin. I think Jax is being portrayed as a new age type of biker. I think its refreshing to see stereotypical trends broken. I also dont think its absolutley nessacary to have Harley’s. Whats wrong with a custom bike, or a customized Warrior or someithing liek this. I think the true meaning of a biker is more about freedom, then it is about image.

Hey badharley, don’t you mean he rides a 1978 shovelhead? Panheads haven’t been made since the 60’s. Also a Sportster is just a Sportster,not a lowrider. Nothing wrong with a Sportster though. Now as far as Jax and his clothes, he should be wearing black leather boots not as a fashion statement or because he is just following an image but because as any true biker knows, they are for protection. And I don’t mean “biker” as in just someone that rides a bike because in this day and age the “real biker” is out numbered by dumbass “credit card” bikers 100 to 1. Everytime I see someone on a scoot wearing shorts and tennis shoes I want to puke. I went down on my bike a few years back and broke 11 bones and if it wasn’t for my boots I would have lost my left foot. There are unwritten rules that real bikers follow, even a dress code, and anyone that wears the shit that Jax wears on the show is a wannabe. You might feel like you are a part of something just because you can jump on your $20,000 Harley and go putt around on a Sunday when the sun is out while wearing your chaps but all that tells someone that really knows the lifestyle is that you are a weekend warrior. As far as the bikes on the show goes, they all look like they came right off the showroom floor. Real bikers customize their scoots to fit their personality. And I’m sure that 99% of people out there don’t know that the reason real bikers ride Harleys is not because they are Harleys but because they are American made bikes and in the 50’s it was virtually the only bike available and they would “chop” them and make them personal. I could go on and on but only a few of you real people would even understand what I am talking about. As far as the show itself, it is great. But it really needs someone to research outlaw bikers a little more indepth because the characters don’t act much at all like 1%’s. The show is giving the public the wrong impression about real 1% bikers. That Proby would never be a real Proby with not having a bike of his own and they don’t treat him like a Proby. Make him dress in drag and ride him “bitch” through town and then poor bottles of piss on him and then it would be a little more believable. The show has good drama but when you have a shootout with fully automatic weapons I would have to imagine that atleast someone in the club could hit the broadside of a barn at 20 feet. This whole program is based on Hamlet, it follows the old shakespear play and is a great adapation. I think using the biker scene is great and cant wait for a second season to see if it play out to the end.

I have to say, My husband got into this show, and I wasn;t interested but one day I sat down and started to watch it, from then on I was hooked, I think this show is great for men and women to watch, it’s definately unpredictable and is action packed, with drama. I think alot of people miss the point of SOA and bikers in general. A true biker doesnt give 2 shits about waht people think about what they were other than the patch on the back or on the skin. I think Jax is being portrayed as a new age type of biker. I think its refreshing to see stereotypical trends broken. I also dont think its absolutley nessacary to have Harley’s. Whats wrong with a custom bike, or a customized Warrior or someithing liek this. I think the true meaning of a biker is more about freedom, then it is about image.

Hey badharley, don’t you mean he rides a 1978 shovelhead? Panheads haven’t been made since the 60’s. Also a Sportster is just a Sportster,not a lowrider. Nothing wrong with a Sportster though. Now as far as Jax and his clothes, he should be wearing black leather boots not as a fashion statement or because he is just following an image but because as any true biker knows, they are for protection. And I don’t mean “biker” as in just someone that rides a bike because in this day and age the “real biker” is out numbered by dumbass “credit card” bikers 100 to 1. I went down on my bike a few years back and broke 11 bones and if it wasn’t for my boots I would have lost my left foot. There are unwritten rules that real bikers follow, even a dress code, and anyone that wears the shit that Jax wears on the show is a wannabe. You might feel like you are a part of something just because you can jump on your $20,000 Harley and go putt around on a Sunday when the sun is out while wearing your chaps but all that tells someone that really knows the lifestyle is that you are a weekend warrior. As far as the bikes on the show goes, they all look like they came right off the showroom floor. Real bikers customize their scoots to fit their personality. And I’m sure that 99% of people out there don’t know that the reason real bikers ride Harleys is not because they are Harleys but because they are American made bikes and in the 50’s it was virtually the only bike available and they would “chop” them and make them personal. I could go on and on but only a few of you real people would even understand what I am talking about. As far as the show itself, it is great. But it really needs someone to research outlaw bikers a little more indepth because the characters don’t act much at all like 1%’s. The show is giving the public the wrong impression about real 1% bikers. That Proby would never be a real Proby with not having a bike of his own and they don’t treat him like a Proby. Make him dress in drag and ride him “bitch” through town and then poor bottles of piss on him and then it would be a little more believable. The show has good drama but when you have a shootout with fully automatic weapons I would have to imagine that atleast someone in the club could hit the broadside of a barn at 20 feet. Can’t wait for season 2 though.

This whole program is based on Hamlet, it follows the old shakespear play and is a great adapation. I think using the biker scene is great and cant wait for a second season to see if it play out to the end.

I think the producers intentionally put sneakers on Jax, knowing that websites would get “millions” of comments, for and against. I dress this way because before I was old to enough to ride a bike I rode a skateboard, and it’s in the function. Man, SOA is the best show that I’ve seen since the saturday morning cartoons when I was younger. I love it. I’ve got a DVR for my cable, And I’ve recorded every episode (’cept the pilot episode) but I’ve watched ‘em all as well. I still watch them all the time. I love SOA. It introduced me to the biker lifestyle, and I’ve been learning about so much since I’ve gotten into the culture. I can’t wait till season 2!

I think the producers intentionally put sneakers on Jax, knowing that websites would get “millions” of comments, for and against. SOA is a great show. I can’t wait for season 2. It’s the only show I have actually made a point to be home for every episode.
And for Jax. Don’t change a thing. He doesn’t wear boots and traditional biker clothes for a reason. Because, while the club sits on the fringe of society already, Jax sits on the fringe of the club. He is as much in as anyone, but still sees the clubs faults and possible promise. He stands for not only the clubs values, but his own. He is the VP, but still has his own identity. Tig, all those guys, they are what the club wants them to be. Jax is what he wants the club to be.

This is a great show I really didn’t think I would watch at fisrt but when I saw the actors involved like Pearlman and Al Bundys wife I knew it would be good. They have modernized him, technically being a part of an outlaw biker gang does make him a gang banger in true definition sense. But I myself growing up around a real life 1%er outlaw biker group have noticed, tennis shoes baggy pants are becoming the norm with younger biker’s even myself(except I wear combat boots not sneakers). baggy pants can make cold weather easily to bear or hot weather a breeze because while you ride you have wind blowing up your pant legs with ease aka natural a/c. also having to run in sneakers is a whole lot easier than boots. Keep jax as he is change nothing the show is great!!!

I am like all the rest…..can’t wait….am so hooked on this great show I have friend with bootleg DVD business that she got entire 1st season on DVD for me…..now can’t wait for season 2…..but if it is like anything else for FX it was premiered in September and picked up and renewed for a season 2 so that means they may be shooting season 2 now and the earliest it will probably air is Spring 2009…..Just in Time for my Harley out of winter storage…..Rock on Sons of Anarchy!!!

I just hope that the show can keep up the pace, as well as the drama and depth — without becoming either over the top or forumlaic. They’ve definitely hit some sort of sweet spot with this show — and I just hope it holds of in Season 2 — because I loved the first season (about to watch final episode).

I was very happy to find out SOA will be making a second season. I think this is the best new series on FX in a while. The story is unpredictable and interesting. The season finale was sublime. I’ll be on the lookout for the Season 2 premier.

I agree with John Baron. Jax should look like a biker, not eminem. There ain’t no place for hip hop in bikersville. Don’t beleive me? Ask any real biker. Hip Hop is garbage. SOA is a great show. I can’t wait for season 2. It’s the only show I have actually made a point to be home for every episode.
And for Jax. Don’t change a thing. He doesn’t wear boots and traditional biker clothes for a reason. Because, while the club sits on the fringe of society already, Jax sits on the fringe of the club. He is as much in as anyone, but still sees the clubs faults and possible promise. He stands for not only the clubs values, but his own. He is the VP, but still has his own identity. Tig, all those guys, they are what the club wants them to be. Jax is what he wants the club to be.

I haven’t been this excited about a TV show since I was a kid. I to haven’t missed an eprisode, however I’ve had to stream them off the ‘net ’cause I’m to cheap to buy cable. This is a great show I really didn’t think I would watch at fisrt but when I saw the actors involved like Pearlman and Al Bundys wife I knew it would be good. This show just hits on so many levels with ppl being part of a brotherhood has to be so special I can’t imagine how great it would feel to have real brothers like that. I am about to get the Reaper tatoo it is just fucking bad ass.

They have modernized him, technically being a part of an outlaw biker gang does make him a gang banger in true definition sense. But I myself growing up around a real life 1%er outlaw biker group have noticed, tennis shoes baggy pants are becoming the norm with younger biker’s even myself(except I wear combat boots not sneakers). baggy pants can make cold weather easily to bear or hot weather a breeze because while you ride you have wind blowing up your pant legs with ease aka natural a/c. also having to run in sneakers is a whole lot easier than boots. Keep jax as he is change nothing the show is great!!!
